 16 girls from the North American Hockey Academy enjoyed late season ice climbing as well as The NLRI Challenge Course

TOPPING OUT ON THE NLRI ICE WALL 3.8.09

Here Tony from New York enjoys ice climbing for the first time. Despite the mild temps we had over the weekend (daytime in the high forties with partial sun) the NLRI Ice Wall is holding its own due to the fact that it is oriented due north and never takes any direct sunlight and is insulated on the outside by our "Dry Ice" Foam panels by Entre Prises which allow us to continue ice climbing year round!

Even though the temperatures have been getting well above freezing due to the way our ice wall is positioned it never takes direct sunlight. Consequently our wall is in very good shape!

Taste of Ice at NLRI 2.17.09

The Taste of Ice sessions we offer are an excellent way for folks to gain an introduction to ice climing with great instruction and the best equipment in a controlled environment.
